Emmys 2021: Η Kate Winslet και όλοι οι άλλοι (νικητές)

H Kate Winslet δεν μπορούσε να συγκρατήσει τη χαρά της όταν ανακοινώθηκε ότι εκείνη κερδίζει το βραβείο Α’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου για τη Μίνι Σειρά Mare of Easttown, στα 73α βραβεία Τηλεόρασης, Emmys 2021. H τελετή πραγματοποιήθηκε με λιγότερο κόσμο, αλλά ήταν εξίσου λαμπερή, ενώ οι νικητές έδειχναν απροκάλυπτα τα συναισθήματά τους (όταν νικούσαν), γεγονός που αποδεικνύει περίτρανα πόσο τους είχαν λείχει βραδιές σαν αυτή.

Πέρα από την Kate Winslet, ανάμεσα στους μεγάλους νικητές ήταν και το The Crown, αλλά και η feel-good κωμωδία Ted Lasso. Οι πλατφόρμες streaming είχαν την τιμητική τους στα Emmys 2021, αφού εξαιτίας του Covid-19 καθιέρωσαν την ήδη διαδεδομένη χρήση τους. Τα τηλεοπτικά δίκτυα έμειναν λίγο πιο πίσω φέτος, εξαιτίας και των συνθηκών της πανδημίας.

Το The Crown και το The Manadalorian είχαν τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες (24 το καθένα), με Το Στέμμα να κερδίζει τελικά κατά κράτος (αναλυτικά παρακάτω). Ο Jason Sudeikis πήρε αρκετά βραβεία για το Ted Lasso, τα οποία μάλιστα είναι και τα πρώτα Emmy στην καριέρα του.

Στα άξια ξεχωριστής αναφοράς, το βραβείο Σεναρίου πήγε στην Michaela Coel για το σπουδαίο I May Destroy You. Η ίδια αφιέρωσε τη νίκη της σε κάθε επιζώντα σεξουαλικής επίθεσης.
